We were delighted by the beautiful garden and refreshing swimming pool at Manaslu. The traditional Nepalese touch to the hotel added a unique charm to our stay. The front desk staff were responsive and friendly, providing us with helpful assistance throughout. The hotel's location also served as a great base for our trekking adventures, allowing us to leave our luggage securely while we explored the stunning landscapes of Nepal. our experience at Manaslu was fulfilling and worth every penny.
Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the buffet dinner not being to our liking and the hotel's policy of not taking responsibility for personal belongings, these did not overshadow the overall pleasantness of our stay.

Hotel in Nepali style, with many details
Despite repeated requests, the room was not cleaned

My room was spacious and had a wonderfully soft armchair to relax on. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good and varied. The laundry service was excellent, not only fast, but things also came back ironed.
A lot is currently under construction in the hotel. The garden next to the pool was a single construction site. Therefore, you could not sit outside or enjoy the pool chairs in peace. That was a shame, because I had chosen this hotel especially for that.

Located in a quieter area outside of Thamel with some shops within walking distance and adjacent to a popular hotel. The rooms are mostly clean and functional with limited basic amenities such as tea and coffee at check-in. Some rooms offer a new renovated decor with balconies and scenic garden views. Breakfast is decent and the staff is generally attentive.
The hotel is subject to electricity cuts, which can affect the functionality of the air conditioning during dryer seasons.

Stunning building, ideal location near shops and restaurants, plentiful breakfast with fresh fruit, friendly staff with good English, beautiful architecture and gardens, rare public green space in Kathmandu.
Nothing to mention.

Spent Xmas holidays at this cozy hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. Enjoyed the spacious rooms and the friendly service of the well-dressed staff. The food was delicious and the lounge area was perfect for relaxing. The location was key, close to other amenities and attractions.
The hot water supply was not consistent and the breakfast could have been better. The staff seemed to be understaffed or busy during peak times and did not always attend to guests' needs promptly.

During my Christmas vacation, I had a great experience at this hotel. The complimentary breakfast and Christmas dinner were a pleasant surprise. The hotel's location was perfect, close to all the major attractions I wanted to visit. Another advantage was the availability of a travel agency within the hotel premises which enabled me to book my tour and trekking expeditions easily.
The one downside was the unavailability of hot water when I wanted to take my shower. I also found the staff to be slightly indifferent towards guests who were not fluent in English.
